Possible Treatment Goals for Kids and Adolescents

Taking the necessary precautions regarding the skeletal and dental problems that may occur in the future in children and adolescents and treating the existing problems is one of the crucial topics in our clinic.

As with all treatments, we must plan the treatment of children and adolescents in line with the goals we aim to achieve. When setting our end-of-treatment goals, we must also take into account the positive or negative effects of continued growth and development in children and adolescents, unlike adult treatments. Accurate definition of biological limits, precise diagnosis and setting realistic goals before treatment directly affect the success of the treatment.

In this presentation, we will discuss how we determine our treatment goals for children and adolescents in our clinic, and which treatment methods we prefer and why, accompanied by case reports.
